Puja is a ritualistic affair that is followed in almost all Hindu houses on any and every occasion. It is the process of worshipping God with a pure intension and heart.A normal Puja is performed every day at home but there come occasions when special pujas are performed too.
An Eco-Friendly puja is a little different from an ordinary one in respect to the idol, samagri used, decoration etc. As you must have understood from the meaning, an eco-friendly puja involves everything that protects the environment. We strictly avoid the use of thermo-col or any biodegradable items for decoration or idol making, more so the idols are painted using water soluble and non-toxic natural dyers which do not prove to be hazardous to the environment. Our Prasad is served in eco-friendly plates, banana leaves etc. so that even the environment stays protected.
To add to all this, we make sure any samagri, decoration, food, Prasad etc. that is used during the puja does not go wasted by donating it to the needy. There is absolutely no misuse or adulteration of any sort when it comes to the products we use; right from clothes to food, everything is donated to the orphanage and every product can be utilized to the fullest.
